The actors were radio mic’d for reinforcement and so that spatial effects could be added in order to help place scenes in their desired location. By creating nine vocal zones with each zone having independent level and delay control to each loudspeaker, Michael was able to make the PA system disappear whilst achieving exceptional intelligibility.
